My experience working with SPOT Project has been a life changing one. I currently live in Gambia and will stay here for a year. Deciding to come out here and work for the project was not a difficult decision to make after I first visited in January 2019. The solidity and honesty that this project offers is something rare and praiseworthy.
After my last visit, I knew what I was coming to the second time around, however, I had no idea how rewarding it would be working with these children up close. Every child has their own unique personality and with a focus on character building, this school truly allows each child to grow into their own person.

“The first time I heard of SPOT Project was in 2016, my sister wanted to organise an event to raise money for the orphans in Gambia. We managed to organise a family fun day and it was a success Alhamdulillah. We didn’t really have many expectations as we thought SPOT project was just like any other charity, with people in charge that you never see or communicate with. The founders of SPOT Project soon dismissed those thoughts as after organising many events we realised how involved the whole team is, whether or not they are in the same country.
